I can't even begin to explain how it makes me feel to have experienced the growth we have this year.Tom & I began this journey last November when he moved here from New Orleans. When looking back over the last year it simply amazes me when I see what has transpired in one year. When he first arrived I had not really seen anyone other then a few medical people in 5 years. The night of our first party I was terrified. I was so sure people would run from the house in horror once they saw me. I didn't think it was possible to find acceptance at my size. Everyone was so nice, its hard to imagine now that I have only known them for a year. These people have become my close friends. People I can trust with the intimate details of my life and know I will find compassion & acceptance when I need it.
I want to tell all of you that I have met over the year that I have come to respect you all for the beautiful people you are. Each one of you have so many good qualities. We have all blended together so well. Everyone has been so supportive of each other.Whenever times were hard for one of us there were a whole band of others to hold us up. I love all of you. Sure we all have had our lils spats & disagreements but we work them out. You all are family to me.
To those of you that have not come to a BABE function yet I hope you do. If you are sitting home scared but curious about it come on down. We don't bite (well maybe a lil nip) and what we have to offer you is Total acceptance,compassion and a whole LOT of fun! Don't think for a minute that your too FAT or Too Small. People of all sizes & races are here at BABE and you are ALL welcome. Even the lil creatures from a planet far far away are welcome here. Yes Tom that means you too :>
